I have been working in the mental health services field since 1998 and have worked in several different areas of mental health over the last 20+ years.

While residing in Colorado, I held a position as the Director of a residential group home for dual diagnosed children, a caseworker for Colorado Department of Human Services, and as a Supervisor for Maple Star of Colorado Foster Care placement agency.

In 2007 I relocated to Texas and began working as a therapist for a local psychiatric hospital. In 2009, I licesened in the state of Texas as  Licensed Professional Counselor and I opened my private practice in the North Houston/Spring area. I am also a Texas state board approved supervisor and enjoy providing supervision to newly licensed therapists as they embar on their career.

My vast experience has allowed me to work with adolescents, adults and couple's in a caring and compassionate manner. No two people are the same, therefore, no two approaches should be the same for therapy. I utilize several different therapeutic approaches based on the unique needs of each client. Supportive therapy, confrontive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT EMDR and psychoeducational therapy.
