I am a native Texan, and am from a small West Texas town where I grew up. In 2001, my family and I moved to Houston where we now call home. As a wife and mom (best jobs I have ever had), I also I spent most of my life working in the medical field before finding my true passion, as a therapist.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Houston Downtown and went on to obtain my Master’s degree from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in several therapeutic environments including, The Center (for dual diagnosis individuals),  Cypress Creek Psychiatric Hospital and private practice with Reflections in Therapy.

I work with adolescents, adults and geriatric populations. I utilize several different therapeutic approaches based on the unique needs of each client. Supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed therapy, DBT skills, and psychoeducational therapy.
